What should be our next protip?

Hi all - we’ve been cooking up some short form guides that we’ve been posting as pro-tip. These videos are typically something we put together as a response to users asking questions for workflows or different techniques, and I thought it would be nifty to setup a topic just for ya’ll to throw ideas and/or suggestions our way :rocket:

So, if you got one, let us know in the thread

Here are a few we have in the queue.
Masking with passthrough
Locking your position with anchors
Full circle workflow with Rhino to Arkio
Setting up a meeting
Recording footage in MR
Excel data to Arkio geometry
Building off of a floor plan
Hosting a design review

Editing geometry in passthrough at 1:1 scale with a focus on adding and removing nodes, Boolean operations, moving a nodes along a single axis, toggling the snapping of nodes to allow finer adjustment of placement.

Tell me more! @Oom_Wat

I would like to build geometry to model the interior space of my house, however none of the walls are straight or plum … I can easily build square boxes that approximate the shape of the wall, but I would like to be able to move each node to create some random rhombus that fits the dimensions of the wall.

I’d then like to be able to fuse each of these reshaped boxes into a single mesh to minimise the number of nodes and verticies needed, so that I can model the entire interior space of the house.

This will allow me to more easily visualise the best paths for wiring and plumbing to avoid needing to deal with 1.5m thick walls, without just putting everything through the existing door spaces.
